Welcome to Sajjanpur (release date: September 19th) – Cinematic genius Shyam Benegal makes a comeback this year after his last acclaimed release Zubeidaa. The award winning director returns to the comedy arena this time with Welcome To Sajjanpur (earlier titled Mahadev Ki Sajjanpur) starring Shreyas Talpade (Iqbal) and Amrita Rao (Vivah). Welcome to Sajjanpur is the story of a village that has a population of mostly illiterates except for one man who makes his living out of writing letters for the villagers. The movie promises to be a satirical take on rural India. Shantanu Moitra (Parineeta) composed the soundtrack, which has just hit shelves worldwide.
