The music for Subhash Ghai’s upcoming film Kaanchi was launched yesterday. In attendance were the ‘Showman’ himself with Kaanchi’s lead actors – Kartik Aaryan and Mishti. Singers Mike, Anwesha, Ankit Tiwari and composers Ismail Darbar, Salim- Sulaiman were also present.
“Dil se banaya gaya gaana hamesha yaad rahega,” said Subhash Ghai while introducing the music.
Other attendees include Hrithik Roshan, and Jackie Shroff who also stars in the film. Here’s what Hrithik had to say about Subhash Ghai after the event: “‘He spreads joy like only he can! Pople were laughing, dancing and giving love! Thank you sir for the memories! May Kaanchi fly high.”
Kaanchi directed by Subhash Ghai chronicles the story of an innocent rural beauty and her fight against power. Slated to release April 25, the movie also features Rishi Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, Kartik Aaryan, Chandan Roy and introduces Mishti.
