A host of superstars including Cody Simpson, Ed Sheeran, Nelson Mandela, Charlie XCX and UN Secretary – General Ban Ki-moon, have teamed up with the United Nations and the world’s most personalised music streaming service, MixRadio, to launch a global music video to continue a weeklong campaign to mark International Day of Happiness.
Recognizing music has the power to spread happiness and inspire solidarity and hope for a better tomorrow, the host of artists from around the world have teamed up to create a lip synced version of Charlie XCX’s popular track ‘Boom Clap’.
The #HappySoundsLike campaign, fronted by Australian singer/ songwriter Cody Simpson, will later this week launch an inspirational, international playlist created by artists and listeners from around the world, sharing the track that makes them happiest.
Cody Simpson, comments, “I am really pleased to be partnering with the United Nations and MixRadio for such an amazing campaign to raise awareness of International Day of Happiness.
