From bringing on lots of ‘masti’ and ‘mazaa’ that goes with the mood and spirit of Dil Juunglee, the makers have now unleashed an out and out romantic number in the form of ‘Dil Jaane Naa’. With the film less than a week away from release, the track has emerged as one of the better sounding songs in the town and one now waits to see how quick does it grow in days to come.
“This song is for that situation in the film when lead pair of the film, Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Salim, meet after years in London. Though they first meet in Delhi where Taapsee is an English teacher and Saqib her student, their love story develops further in London,” informs our source.
Apparently, the song plays a major role in playing cupid for the couple.
“Both Taapsee and Saqib are shown to have moved on in their lives at this juncture of the story. They both have their respective partners around them but then fate has something different in store for them,” our source adds, “If you listen to the lyrics carefully, you would realize that ‘Dil Jaane Naa’ has so much to convey about the true emotions of both the protagonists.”
The song is put to tune by newcomer Abhishek Arora with Abhiruchi Chand as the lyricist.
“Both have given a lot to the song and this is what enticed experienced singers like Mohit Chauhan and Neeti Mohan to be a part of it,” says an insider, “They were happy to be on board for ‘Dil Jaane Naa’ due to its core melody as well as simplicity. No wonder, they have their best for the song and results are there to be seen.”
Now one waits to see how ‘Dil Jaane Naa’ indeed plays in the film’s narrative once the film releases all over this Friday.
