Reema Kagti’s Talaash has forever been in the news for its promotional activities or merely for the suspense about the story line. It has recently been discovered that this film has captured the fading areas of Mumbai that will eventually deteriorate.

This film has apparently been shot at places like Charni Road, Lower Parel, Grant Road, Colaba and Central Bombay to make the scenes look more authentic and real. Reema Kagti said, “We wanted our locations to look real and suit the script. That is why we chose buildings and locations that are fading.”

Reportedly, the unit hasn’t used a single set and have shot the whole film on real locations. The unit had shortlisted 520 locations, out which they got 47 locations to shoot in.

The music launch of Talaash happened recently in the presence of the entire team, including Aamir Khan and Rani Mukherji. Kareena Kapoor missed the event as her reception date clashed with the event’s date. Aamir is playing the role of a cop for the second time in Talaash, while it is being said that Rani is playing his wife and Kareena is playing the role of a prostitute.

Talaash is an Excel Entertainment and Aamir Khan productions suspense thriller which is set to release on 30th November.
