Tanishq, India’s jewelry brand, recently opened its eighth and ninth U.S. stores in Tysons, Virginia and Orlando, Florida respectively. The brand’s latest openings showcase its long-term vision for growth and cultural connection in key American markets marking a significant milestone in its North American expansion. Both locations marked their grand opening with ribbon cutting and diya lighting ceremonies, live musical performances, and the presence of distinguished dignitaries.
In Virgina, the 5,500 sq. ft. grand showroom is located at Tyson’s Corner at 8065 Leesburg Pike, Suite 120. The location sits at the center of the region’s Indian and South Asian communities and attracts shoppers from Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. The store showcases Tanishq’s blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, offering pieces suited for everyday wear, weddings, and special occasions. Inside the showroom, guests can explore collections such as Celeste Solitaires, Elan, and Embrace, with options ranging from daily styles to statement designs.
The opening celebration in Virginia welcomed Vinay Mohan Kwatra, Ambassador of India to the United States, as the chief guest. Additional dignitaries included Kannan Srinivasan, Virginia State Senator; Shuchita Sonalika, Director and Head – North America at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII); Michael McCabe, Resident Director, Tata Group North America; and Arun Narayan, CEO, Jewelry Division, Tanishq.
“Tysons is one of the most dynamic retail destinations in the country, and opening here marks an important step in our U.S. journey,” said Amritpal Singh, Business Head, TCL North America Inc. “The DMV is home to a vibrant and culturally rich South Asian community, and we’re looking forward to becoming part of the region’s growing jewelry landscape.”
In Orlando, the 1,800 sq. ft. boutique is inside the Florida Mall and situated near the Primark entrance at 8001 S. Orange Blossom Trail. Orlando was selected for its unique position as both a global destination and one of Florida’s fastest-growing cities. With millions of visitors each year and a strong South Asian population in the region, Central Florida offers an ideal setting for Tanishq to introduce its heritage craftsmanship to a wide and diverse audience.
Inside the new store, customers can explore more than 5,000 pieces, including exclusive collections curated specifically for the Orlando market. Highlights include the Heart Collection, Birthstones, and the Paper Clip Collection, alongside the brand’s signature gold, diamond, and gemstone designs. The store offers jewelry for weddings, festivals, gifting, and everyday elegance. The celebration here included ceremonial lamp lighting and live music, offering guests an immersive introduction to the brand’s artistry and cultural heritage. Setting a unique precedent, the ribbon cutting for the Orlando Tanishq store was conducted by all the women guests in attendance. The grand store launch was further elevated by the presence of senior Titan leadership, notably Arun Narayan, CEO, Jewelry Division, Tanishq.
“Orlando offered an opportunity to introduce Tanishq to a global audience,” said Amritpal Singh, Business Head, TCL North America Inc. “With its fast-growing population, thriving tourism, and strong South Asian community, it’s an ideal market for our expansion. We’re excited to bring our craftsmanship and modern approach to Indian fine jewelry to Central Florida, and to offer a destination where customers can discover pieces for every celebration.”
