Tannishtha Chatterjee is known for her effortless onscreen transition into the character she plays. Her upcoming Rough Book is no different in which she plays a teacher whose out-of-the-box approach when it comes to teaching her students ruffles many feathers. And while the actress had much to draw from her own school days to play her part to the T, Tannishtha not only met several teachers, but also attended classes to nail the mannerisms of a teacher.
An insider reveals, “She’s always been good in academics, so she must’ve been a front bencher in school. But we could see she was thrilled to be a back-bencher for a change!”
The highly-acclaimed film directed by Ananth Mahadevan is set to release on June 24th.
