Tanushree Dutta has been pleased to get offers from down South. “Well, the deal is when we go down South, we get offers opposite the South superstars,” she says, “So, we get the biggest of the big budget movies there and some of them much, much bigger than an average Bollywood production. So, it makes career and business sense to go and work in the South along with Bollywood.”
Currently in Kollywood’s Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai, a part-remake of Bachna Ae Haseeno, with Jyoti, Sarah-Jane Dias and Neetu Chandra, Tanushree has also been linked to Hermanth Hegde’s new venture Rama Rama Shri Rama. If she accepts, she will be in competition with Aishwarya Duggal in the glamour stakes.
Tanushree fans are asking whether she will ever make a movie with Emraan Hashmi again after their successful jodi in Chocolate and Good Boy, Bad Boy. “Surely!” she exclaims, “If I am offered a good project with Emraan, I will definitely do it.”
