Fresh from making the crossover movie, The Other End of the Line, with Shriya Saran, British actress Tara Sharma will soon be seen in Maharathi. “The movie is an interesting thriller but at the same time it has a funny aspect also,” she says, “I play the role of an architecture student who is very energetic but with a grey shade.”
Tara is also busy working on a string of other movies at the moment including Mocktail, Mumbai Cutting and a new Karan Johar project. “Yes, at this time I have a lot of movies in my kitty and they will be released one after the other. I hope that the audience likes my work as it helps to motivate me to improve my skills for future projects.” Tara is perhaps best known in the UK for her role in the acclaimed TV drama Britz.
Tara is a graduate of the London School of Economics (LSE) and is socially conscious. “Every year I participate in the Mumbai Marathon and whatever funds I get from this, I donate to the treatment of cancer patients. This really gives me a lot of satisfaction,” she explains.
