After delaying the big day numerous times the very excited Ayesha Takia finally tied the knot with her long time boyfriend Farhan Azmi on Sunday night.
The Nikkah was held at Colaba restaurant, which is owned by Farhan, and was a quiet function with close friends and family that made up a crowd of approximately 200 guests. Both the bride and groom kept the night very simple and sweet, so much so that there outfits was not anything of the ramp or from a top designer but were in fact very traditional pieces. Ayesha wore a gold lehenga suit whilst groom Farhan wore a white sherwani.
Although the Nikkah was very special and small, the reception was done in a totally opposite scale with the happy couple’s parents hosting it at CCI Stadium in Churchgate with over 5000 attending guests.
