Sriram Raghavan’s war drama Ikkis which was to release on 25 December has now been shifted a week ahead, keeping in mind the Dhurandhar cyclone that refuses to subside.
The Ikkis producers Maddock Films took the call to postpone their film after seeing the growing box office collections of Dhurandhar.
“The film (Dhurandhar) refuses to slow down. Coming at a time when it has the moviegoers’ complete attention would be naïve,” says director Sriram Raghvan.
This leaves the coast clear for one release on December 25: Karan Johar modern romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Pandey.
