What if a song could give us a warm embrace, and melt right into our hearts? The makers of Roohi weave one such magical melody. Kiston, the latest track from the horror comedy, is all set to charm diehard fans of pyaar, ishq and mohabbat.
Featuring leads Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma, the romantic ballad celebrates the essence of pure, soothing and innocent love.
While Rajkummar and Janhvi’s chemistry exudes a serene and soulful vibe, Varun’s adorable act showcases the cute and clumsy side of romance.
Composed by Sachin-Jigar and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, Jubin Nautiyal has lent his sublime voice to the track.
“Kiston is an innocent love song. Especially in the pacy dancey sonic that our music albums range this should be a refreshing change. We are hoping that simple tunes like Kiston find someplace in listener’s hearts and give them a sense of unadulterated romance. Loved for his emotive renditions, Jubin offers power, softness, and a soothing quality to the new Sachin-Jigar track. Kiston is a romantic song that drives home the point of being in love.
Jubin says, “Singing for Sachin-Jigar was such a smooth and enriching experience. There was so much energy and positivity while recording the song. I can only hope that it has translated into a track that will be loved by all the listeners out there. I had been waiting for this song to be out and I’m super thrilled about its release.”
