The multi-lingual release of two of South India’s biggest superstar’s combined stardom in Sekhar Kammula’s Kuberaa has the film trade and the film industry agog.
During a conversation with this writer Tamil star-politician Vishal Krishna said, “I am big fan of both the actors. I can’t wait to see what they have done together in Kuberaa.”
Nagarjuna agreed to be part of Kuberaa for several reasons. “Whether to work with Dhanush or not was a no-brainer. He is such a fantastic actor. To collaborate with him is a pleasure. As a co-star and collaborator I couldn’t have asked for more. Then there was script. Both Dhanush and I have fabulous roles.”
Are there a lots of confrontational sequences between the two superstars?
Laughs Nag, “That you will have to see for yourself. But for me, facing the camera with a co-actor has never been an occasion for oneupmanship. I believe co-actors work towards the same goal. And Dhanush is so proactive, it is inspiring.”
Lately Nagarjuna has re-discovered the action hero within himself. “I really enjoy action, It gives me an exceptional high. By the grace of God, I am physically fit. I am going to be 66 in August. But I don’t feel my age.”
