Divya Khosla had a fulfilling 2024 when her Savi became a surprise success. She is now looking forward to an equally fruitful year.
Would you describe 2024 as fulfilling?
I really want to thank God for the year that went by and I actually thank God for each and every minute, every single day that follows and for the life that he’s given me.
What was the highlight of 2024?
I think the highlight of the year career-wise was definitely my film Savi getting so much acclaim and so much of praise from the audience and everyone appreciating my performance. So, I’m very, very thankful for that.
What is in store for 2025?
I was shooting throughout December in Lucknow and I’m back in Bombay but abhi thode din ka …like 9-10 din ka round schedule baaki hai. Toh wohi start ho raha hai shoot abhi. So abhi the film is not announced but jaise hi they’ll give us a go-ahead toh sabse pehle mein aapko bataungi taaki aap sabse pehle usko print karna.
Are you playing a character as dark as Savi?
It’s a very different character for me and I’m excited to share it with you as soon as I can. All I can say is, this is the most challenging character for any actor.
Your favourite films of 2024?
I think my favourite film would be All We Imagine As Light. I love that film and the way the director Payal Kapadia has captured Mumbai .
Any regrets about the year gone-by?
I don’t think I have any regrets of the year. I think it was a good year for me and for 2025 of course I look forward to more love, happiness, and success and hard work and good health for me and for everyone close to me.
