Kareena Kapoor, who is now gearing up for her next film Satyagraha in which she plays a journalist, says that she misses the relationship that journalists and stars used to share once upon a time.

She said, “One thing that I regret is the diminishing relationship between journalists and actors. There are so many magazines and tabloids and channels that the relation shared between a journalist and an actor does not seem to exist now. I miss that.”

She also added that earlier, interviews were less structured and more like conversations and chats to know each other better. “I have had a good relation with some big journalists who are now writers of my movies and the way we did it was just talk and talk. They would know the kind of person I am and then write about that,” she said.

Kareena has been doing some rigorous research for her role and is very impressed with the real reporters and their aggression. “I am going to inspiration from all these reporters who have the aggression in them to find the truth out. They do a tough job and I am going to take a bit of that grit,” she added.

Satyagraha is directed by Prakash Jha and features Arjun Rampal, Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Manoj Bajpayee. The film will release in January 2013.
