7. Ranvir Shorey (Ugli aur Pagli, Mithya, Singh is Kinng)
Ranvir Shorey just goes from strength-to-strength. After his exceptional performances in Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd and Traffic Signal last year, he’s shown his ability once again to play both comic and serious roles successfully in 2008. His performance in Ugli aur Pagli with the amazing Mallika Sherawat was first-class even though the script itself was a bit of a let down. However, a first-class performance in the critically acclaimed Mithya and the blockbuster Singh is Kinng ensure a good position for him on this year’s Best Actors List. Watch out for his role as Chopstick in Akshay’s big offering for the new year, Chandni Chowk to China.
