Abhay-Sonam (Aisha)
Good things can be found in the most unexpected places, it seems. The romantic pairing of Abhay Deol and Sonam Kapoor is one such “good thing”. B-town’s first chick flick, Aisha, did pretty averagely at the box office but the jodi almost certainly won the audience’s hearts. Branded as “beauty and brains” personified, Deol and Kapoor were surprisingly appreciated despite their characters’ cat-and-dog type fighting in the movie. The characters of Aisha (Sonam) and Arjun (Abhay) fit together like a hand to a glove and the charming nature of the film did wonders for their pairing. It has been rumoured that the two will join forces once again in Dibakar Banerjee’s next which is sure to be a project to watch out for.
