It seems Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabelle’s career in Filmistan is doomed to die even before birth. Isabelle Kaif’s long-delayed debut in a film on cultural amity Suswagatam Khushamdeed has quietly been withdrawn from its scheduled release today on May 16.

There was no formal announcement about the cancellation.

But for all practical purposes, one more attempt to showcase Isabelle’s purported talent has gone kaput, and that too noiselessly.

It may be recalled that in 2022, Isabelle was to make her debut in dance musical A Time To Dance directed by Stanley D’Costa with Sooraj Pancholi. That too died an usung, and undanced, death.

On inquiry, I am told that A Time To Dance did get a release, in which part of the world, we don’t know.

In the meanwhile, all eyes are on the rescheduled release of Dinesh Vijan’s Bhool Chuk Maaf, which had been scheduled for May 9. After a legal battle the hilarious comedy is back on May 23. All is forgiven, bhool chuk maaf.
