We have an exciting new feature just for BollySpice readers from the sets of a Bollywood film currently in production! We are going to be getting exclusive tidbits and reports every week from the set of Shawn Arranha’s new film Tukkaa Fitt, which is an AAP Entertainment and Premal Goragandhi production. The comedy stars Mahaakshay Chakraborty, Vaishali Desai, Hiten Paintal, and Rajpal Yadav along with Mukul Dev, Satish Shah, Mukesh Tiwari, Muku Deol, Sunil Pal, Amit Mistry, Vivek Vaswani, and Mahesh Manjrekar. As Shawn told us in our exclusive interview (which you can read here) Tukka Fitt is a crazy comic caper. The film went to the floors on the 29th of September and is set for release in 2012. As Shawn tweeted: “Live from the sets. Of TUKKAA FITT… here we go!”
On the 29th the Muharrat of Tukkaa Fitt took place at Filmcity, where all actors gathered as a team to start the commencement of the film with high spirits. The Muharrat kick started the first shot of the film with Mahaakshay Chakraborty, Rajpal Yadav and Hiten Paintal. Shawn tweeted right before, “First shot ready waiting for Mr. Rajpal Yadav to create magic then Mahakshay and Hiten.”
Throughout the week they had several special guests visit the set.
Mr. Amitabh Arun Parekh graced the sets with his family and blessed the set and the unit of Tukkaa Fitt.
Mithun Chakraborty and Mr. Paintal Sahab blessed the unit and complimented the Director Shawn Arranha and director of Photography Vikash Saraf on their shot taking. They felt they had never seen Filmcity like this before.
The senior actors blessed the unit and it was overwhelming as the entire unit has been a huge fan of their body of work.
Mr. Ketan Desai also dropped by to bless his niece Vaishali Desai and bless the unit as well.
From what we hear Shawn Arranha is doing a fabulous job of treating this comedy film as a very stylish adfilm effect, which has a very classy look for the film. It’s the first time people will see a different type of comedy.
Seems the filming is going really well and the energy and comedy is high, the unit is enjoying the camaraderie of actors on the sets and not even rain could dampen the spirit of Tukkaa Fitt.

The Tukkaa Fitt as aptly titled is enjoying the every minute of filming and looks forward to rest of the shoot which will be more enjoyable as more and more actors join the mayhem of comedy.
