To celebrate the release and momentous opening of blockbuster film, Sultan, Yash Raj Films in association with LDN Wrestling – one of Europe’s biggest touring wrestling companies – hosted the Sultan Wrestling Tournament on Saturday 9th July 2016 at one of North England’s biggest Bollywood hotspots, Cineworld Bradford.
The wrestling showdown welcomed some of Europe’s most renowned pro wrestlers, who went head to head to win the coveted Sultan trophy. Winning the Sultan title was champion wrestler, Alan Lee Travis, who was presented with the trophy by Avtar Panesar, Vice President, International Operations, Yash Raj Films; Imran Hussain, MP for Bradford East and Shadow Minister for International Development; and David Wilson, Director, Bradford UNESCO City of Film.
