Amidst the thrilling energy of IPL 2024, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan engaged audiences worldwide with his portrayal of ‘Ashwatthama’, delivering a special message for the Men In Blue (Indian Cricket Team) ahead of World Cup 2024, in a video titled ‘Ab Ho Ja Tu Taiyyar’ – Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama announced the ‘T20 World Cup Ka Shankhnaad’.

Premiered during the Chennai Super Kings vs. Punjab Kings IPL showdown, Amitabh Bachchan’s portrayal of Ashwatthama heightened anticipation for the upcoming World Cup with his impactful voice, striking appearance with a gem (mani) on his forehead, body language, powerful monologue and bold expressions as the iconic character. Directed by Nag Ashwin and bankrolled by Vyjayanthi Movies, “Kalki 2898 AD” is a multilingual film, a mythology-inspired sci-fi spectacle set in the future, scheduled to hit screens worldwide on June 27, 2024.
