Vidhu Vinod Chopra has been pioneering the Indian Entertainment industry through an excellent array of films. Films produced in the Vinod Chopra camp are well noted for their brilliant and inspiring stories.
Vinod Chopra who lives by the philosophy, ‘Chase excellence and success will follow’, started off in Bollywood with movies like Khamosh, Parinda and 1942 A Love Story etc. These movies are still looked upon as some of the finest movies made till date. Judging by the quality of movies produced, we are sure that all directors working in the VCF camp have inherently followed Vinod Chopra’s footsteps.
Vinod Chopra, a student of Film and Television institute Pune, started off making films since 1978. His first movie was a documentary called ‘An Encounter With Faces’ was nominated at the Oscars for the Documentary Short Subject category.
Mr. Chopra has always believed in himself and has dared to dream big. He is probably one of the few people who have strived hard to achieve what he has always dreamt of. The dedication, passion and sincerity of Vinod Chopra are quite evident in the movies that come from the VCF camp. The tradition of hard work and dedication followed by everyone here is probably one of the reasons that artists who start off at the Vinod Chopra camp become established personalities in the industry. Raju Hirani and Vidya Balan are perfect examples.
With movies like Parineeta, The Munna Bhai Series, and 3 Idiots, people at VCF have truly come up with films which are not only heartwarming but they also have given the society valuable messages to live by.
