It was the first stepping out for the entire team of Ek Villain and they packed a solid punch at a grand open-air concert held at High Street Phoenix (Mumbai).
The courtyard was packed to the hilt, as the crowd sang along to the film’s hit numbers, and chanted the famous Aye Villain dialogue from the promos, every time the emcee implored them to do so.
Ankit Tiwari sang his chart-busting Galliyan track solo and followed it up with its unplugged version, co-rendered by the stunning Shraddha Kapoor, who bagged a thunderous applause when she came on stage.
Mohd. Irfan rendered his hit Banjaara number while Mithoon and Irfan rendered Zaroorat on behalf of Mustafa Zahid, who was unable to come down from Pakistan.
Following the music performance, Riteish Deshmukh and Sidharth Malhotra made a dazzling entry in their hood and smiley mask, amid fireworks and deafening roars from the ecstatic audience, who were left confused about the identity of the villain . When asked whether Riteish or Sidharth was the villain, the former laughed, “The real villains are Ekta Kapoor and Mohit Suri.”
Suri was in a romantic mood as he dedicated his bouquet to a visibly embarrassed Udita Goswami, who was seated in the first row.
The action-packed evening had the crowd in raptures and the buzz around the film just got even bigger!
