Vishal and Shekhar to perform for world’s first Live Mobile and Web Concert

On February 9th, Vishal and Shekhar are going to be taking part in a unique concert. Why unique, you may ask. Because if you can’t be there, then you can see the performance live on your mobile phone and on the web! Sponsored by Hungama, Nokia and Bharti airtel the Mobile Music Concert will be India’s first live concert on the mobile phone with a simulcast over the Web. Vishal and Shekhar will be performing some of their greatest hits and to make it even cooler they will be doing unplugged versions of the songs!

Shekhar Ravjiani is nothing but excited, not only because of it being the first concert like this ever done, but also because it is bringing new energy to their songs, “We are really excited to be a part of the first ever concert taking place on the mobile, with a simulcast over the web. This is fantastic medium to reach out to all our listeners across the world. This is the first time in our 11 year career we will perform our songs unplugged. The first Mobile Music Concert featuring Vishal and Shekhar will go Live on February 9 at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai at 5 PM. airtel mobile customers across the country who have registered for the service will be able to hear the concert Live on the mobile phone, and even make their song requests to Vishal and Shekhar from their phone. To listen to the concert and to make song requests, airtel mobile customers from any part of the country, simply need to dial 50505 and pay a nominal sum of Rs 15 for registering and Rs 2 per minute for the duration of the call.
