The cast list of Prakash Jha’s film Rajniti is quite impressive but there is one actor who has had to turn it down because of conflicting dates. Vivek Oberoi was very keen to be part of the project but because of his work for his next exciting film he had to say no to Rajniti.

Vivek’s publiscist Dale Bhagwagar said, “Indeed, Vivek was offered Rajniti and wanted to do the film too. But since he had already committed the required dates to the Karan Johar production to be directed by Rensil D’Silva (screenwriter of Rang De Basanti), he couldn’t be part of Rajniti.” The film for D’Silva also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

Adding, “However, Vivek has been an admirer of all Prakash Jha movies and is keen to work with the director in future.”

Vivek’s new film Mission Istanbul is getting ready to blast into theatres this summer on July 25th. The action thriller also stars Sunil Shetty, Zayed Khan and Shriya Saran and was directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
