Currently in Chennai to promote the Tamil version of his movie Prince, Vivek Oberoi admits his embarrassment at the more intimate scenes in the movie with his three leading ladies – Nandana Sen, Neeru Singh and Aruna Shields. “It’s been a dream to work with three lovely ladies together,” he says, “I had a really good experience working with them but, while shooting the intimate scenes, I was way too shy and felt awkward.”
Vivek had to film his smooch with model Aruna Shields several times before getting it right – poor Vivek. “It was our first ever intimate kissing scene and both of us were jittery, which led to too many retakes as it was not looking natural,” he explains.
The actor is currently working on RGV’s much-anticipated Godfather-like Rakta Charitra, based on the controversial life of gangster-turned-politician Paritala Ravindra. The film also stars Surya and Priyamani.
Vivek has been taking steps to distance himself from Swami Nithyananda, recently caught up in an Internet sex video with actress Ranjitha. Vivek has been a follower of the swami for about five years and it said to be shocked and confused by the revelations.
