The Well Done Abba actress Minissha Lamba was recently shooting for a top men’s magazine cover in Goa where the horrifying incident took place. Minissha was on a three day shoot for the magazine cover in Goa’s most loved beach Baga beach. Soon after the incident the shoot was shifted to Agonda beach which is one of the virgin beaches of Goa.
“On the first day of the shoot itself she got mobbed by the over enthusiastic crowd. They started clicking pictures & videos on their phones as she was on the beach in a beach wear. With the quick thinking of the editorial team they call in the bouncers and later the shoot was shifted to another location, but still the unit missed on a one entire day of the shoot” says a close friend of the actor who had accompanied her for the shoot.
Minissha Lamba loves water so the shoot was conceptualized around her being water sporty. The shoots were taken under water & showing her surfing. “I had a fantabulous time shooting for the cover with the team especially with the photographer Colston Julian as he is a dear friend of mine. The shoot was not a difficult task for me as I am a national level swimmer. I love water, we also clicked few pictures me surfing it was easy as I had learned surfing in Australia” Minissha shares her experience of the shoot.
“Yes the crowd was getting little out of control but the quick thinking from the editorial team saved the day” confirms Minissha Lamba when quizzed about the incident.
Minissha Lamba will be soon seen in Bheja Fry 2. She is currently shooting with team of Joker starring Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha & Shreyas Talpade. The film is directed by Shirish Kunder.
