Hrithik Roshan was stunned when Michael Jackson walked into his changing room in LA, during the making of Kites and introduced himself. “Michael introduced himself to Hrithik,” said a source, “It was a funny scene to see someone like him who the whole world knows introducing himself. The two spoke for a short time and then Michael left.” Hrithik is currently finishing off some scenes for the movie, which also stars Mexican beauty Barbara Mori, and Kangana Ranaut.
Hrithik will be popping up in Farhan Akhtar’s show ‘Oye, It’s Friday’ this week alongside Neha Dhupia – and will also be making a speicial appearance in Farhan’s second film, Luck By Chance, directed by Farhan’s sister, Zoya. The film will also star Konkona Sen Sharma and will feature Rishi Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Juhi Chawla, Isha Sharvani and Sanjay Kapoor in the cast.
Last month, Hrithik opened the Speech and Audio Therapy wing of Nanavati Hospital, bringing back memories of his own speech problems as a child. “All the memory of my past difficulties came spilling out at Nanavati,” he said, “When I met my doctor who treated me at age 14 for stammering I could barely control my emotions.” Offering encouragement to the kids, he went on to say, “As someone who has a certain standing I feel it’s my duty to tell kids with disabilities to chill. ‘It’s okay, guys. I got over it. So will you.’ I think it’s very important for me to convey this message far and wide and I want to do it more often.”
