It is a known fact that Shraddha and Varun come from a filmy family and their fathers have worked together for many years. As children, Shraddha and Varun would often be accompanied with their parents on outdoor shoots. On one such schedules at a hill station, Shraddha, being all of 8 years-old, had been nursing a crush on the mischievous child Varun. She decided to profess her love to Varun. Shraddha’s proposal, however, did not go as planned. “I was only 8-years-old and I had a crush on him so I thought I should just tell him to his face, but as soon as I began to speak I got nervous and decided to say “I love you” backwards to him. I then told Varun that I am saying a sentence backwards, so he must listen carefully. Then I said ‘You – love – I’. But it was too complicated for a little boy to digest because he gave me a stern “NO” and just ran away from there! It’s been a joke between us ever since” laughs Shraddha .
So it was déjà vu of sorts for the actress when she had to shoot a romantic song on Mount Brute in the USA with Varun. “It was a romantic song in a beautiful mountainous location and I suddenly burst out laughing when I realized what had happened the last time I professed my love to Varun on a hill. Varun and the unit were all wondering why I got into a sudden burst of laughter. I reminded Varun how he had ran off the last time we were together on a hill top as kids and we both had a good laugh about it. Varun’s reaction was much better this time around though,” said Shraddha.

The actors will be seen grooving with Prabhudheva and the ace choreographer Remo D’Souza will be directing them. The film is based on the real life struggle of a Mumbai based dance troupe who go on to win the World Hip-Hop dance championship.
