South Cinema since last year has decided to take celebrations of its year’s achievements onto the global platform with with SIIMA, the South Indian International Movie Awards. This year hosted in Dubai, the award show saw some of the most prominent faces in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam cinema gathering together to celebrate each others’ cinematic triumphs. The two day event saw the ladies of South cinema bringing their A game onto the red carpet. Who fared well and who didn’t, you ask? Well read on to find out!
Amala Paul played it safe on day 1 with a flared red pleated gown which featured a boat neck. Whilst the look may be somewhat predictable and nothing too exciting, it was one that Amala pulled off effortlessly. The choice for the second day was a Stella McCartney gown which had that ‘wow’ factor the first appearance missed.
