The Umang Police Show 2014, hosted by Manish Paul, was a star studded event, and the film fraternity made some stylistic successes. However, there were also some dull appearances and the Bollyspice Fashion Police have got their breakdown for you.

Kareena ticked all the right boxes with this colour block saree by Shivan and Narresh. The plain pink, black and grey saree accessorised with Black Rock Hoops by Amrapali Jewels was perfectly understated.

Another event, another black suit. We’re getting very bored of seeing you in black SRK but you do look dapper. At least you added a little bit of colour with that blue pocket square?

Madhuri Dixit – Nene
This lilac and gold Arpita Mehta saree looked stunning on Madhuri. Paired with those huge earrings, she carried of the outift with her usual grace and style.

Hrithik looked terrific in this grey suit and he wins the best dressed male award from us!

Shilpa Shetty
This pink Manish Malhotra anarkali did nothing for Shilpa. We’re seeing too much of the bling Manish Malhotra numbers on the red carpet these days and it’s getting a little boring.

Katrina Kaif
Katrina looked smoking hot in Dhoom 3 so her appearance at the Umang Police Show was quite a big disappointment. The floor-length teal Roberto Cavalli dress clung to her figure in all the wrong places and even the leg split couldn’t rescue the look.

Richa Chadda
This Pankaj and Nidhi saree was a fantastic choice for Richa. We love the yellow on her complexion and the contrasting floral blouse.
