15mar_rheayepme-01Rhea Chakraborty has just been signed on by YepMe.com, one of India’s premium fashion e-commerce sites, as their brand ambassador. A former MTV VJ, Rhea made her feature film debut with the sleeper hit Mere Dad Ki Maruti, produced by YRF’s Youth Films Division, Y-Films and stars in Y-Films’ next, bank heist comedy Bankchor with Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi.

Rhea headlines YepMe.com’s new brand campaign that was launched during the ICC Cricket World Cup. The tongue-in-cheek and quirky campaign has Rhea giving a ‘fresh’ take on some of the ‘same old’ lines people say, be it Shopaholics, Fashion Designers, Actresses or Moms of Single Girls. She’s the face of ‘Fresh’ in the campaign, which features a series of 10 videos and outlines the brand philosophy of ‘Fresh Fashion, Fresh Look’.

Says AnandJadhav, President, YepMe.com, “Rhea is one of the most exciting young actors in the film industry right now. She’s a face to watch and a talent who’s on the cusp of breaking out into the big league. We are delighted to welcome Rhea on board as the YepMe.com brand ambassador as it’s a great fit with the brand promise of delivering a fresh look with fresh fashion constantly. We are also thrilled with our first major collaboration with YRF and look forward to a long association with them.”

Adds Rhea, “It’s a privilege to be the face of such a fantastic young brand like YepMe.com. As an actor, you are always looking for the opportunity to do something new and exciting and YepMe.com’s new campaign provided just that.”

Ashish Patil, Business & Creative Head, Youth Films, Talent Management & Brand Partnerships at Yash Raj Films says, “It’s a joy to work with partners who not only give you exciting briefs, but also push you to do great creative work. So while it was a challenge to turn around such a large campaign – with 10 different films, almost 40 different edits, multiple set ups – in record time for the world cup, we could pull it off thanks to the Yepme team backing us with the right resources to make it happen. It also helped us demonstrate the 360 degree capability of YRF Talent to provide end to end solutions – from conceptualizing a campaign, providing the right talent to executing, deploying & amplifying it!”

The campaign is live across platforms and taps into the popular internet format of memes, *Stuff my Dad says* and has already opened to great feedback.
