Directed by Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Bannerjee and Karan Johar, Bombay Talkies is one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year. Bombay Talkies, which has been made to coincide with the centenary of Indian Cinema, was initially planned for an all-India release only, which left many international Bollywood fans disappointed. However, given the frustration that has been expressed by many, the makers and distributors have now decided to give it an international release. Karan Johar, who is one of the co-directors of Bombay Talkies, has confirmed that the film will be getting an international release.
KJo confirmed the welcoming news on his Twitter account by stating the following. “For all those enquiring….the overseas release of Bombay Talkies will be post our Cannes premiere on the 19th…”
