Zayed Khan is barely seen nowadays. In fact, the last time you saw him was in his small role in Anjaana Anjaani. However, that doesn’t mean the actor has disappeared from the acting scene. He is not just acting now but producing too. Talking to a popular daily, the actor claims that he wasn’t satisfied with just being an actor. He needed much more and thus is now indulging in production too. “I’m happy that I’m no longer just an actor and I’m for the first time so much more involved in a project. It’s like my child and I’m responsible for everything. It’s a really nice and happy feeling. I’m hoping that our film will be loved by people,” he said.
Besides his new production house, he will be seen in Priyadarshan’s next film titled Tezz. Based on terrorism, the film is said to focus more on the people rather than the issue at hand. The film will see Khan team up with Ajay Devgn, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Sameera Reddy. “The film has a whirlwind pace to it and I’m really happy that I teamed up with Priyadarshan. Working with him is such a delight and a thorough learning experience,” he said of Priyadarshan.
In his personal life, Zayed and his wife Mallika complete five years of marital bliss. And needless to say, the actor is more than elated with completing half a decade of happiness.
