She plays a girl called Angel and the events in the film take place over 16 days, which is being used as an alternative title. “I hope this film will give me the right break in Tamil,” says Charmi, “My role has immense scope to perform and I had the opportunity of imitating many actors which I have not done even in Telugu industry so far.”
Charmi, who is currently wowing the audiences in Andhra Pradesh with Mantra, is unfazed by her move to a new industry. “Both Trisha and Nayantara are my friends there,” she says. Meanwhile, the Punjabi-born girl’s use of Telegu is now considered so good that she not only dubs her own lines in Tollywood but also the lines of other actresses.
Charmi got her big break with Gowri opposite Sumanth and also scored heavily in Mass with Nagarjuna. However, her most critically acclaimed film so far has been Anukokunda Oka Roju. She also had a hit recently opposite Junior NTR in Rakhi.
