Aadesh Shrivastava’s brother Chitresh dies in car accident

Bollywood music composer Aadesh Srivastava’s elder brother Chitresh Srivastava, died in a car accident on Saturday while traveling from Detroit to Chicago. Chitresh, who was the manager of Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for the past few years, was accompanying the singer on his music tour across America. The car that Chitresh was traveling in had four other passengers, all of whom were critically injured, but are being reported to be in a stable condition currently. Unfortunately, Chitresh was the sole occupant who was pronounced dead on the scene.

Local authorities said that the driver lost control due to which the car hit a speed breaker and flipped several times. Chitresh, who worked as an assistant music director with his brother in films like Aankhen (2002), Major Saab (1998), etc, post which he started his company Eyeline Telefilm and Events, organizing Khan’s events. Aadesh, who himself has been battling his fight with cancer for the past few months, has yet another untimely incident to confront.

Amitabh Bachchan expressed his grief over the accident via his blog and Twitter. He tweeted, “A dear friend lost his brother in rather tragic circumstances .. been with him in his grief .. its Aadesh Srivastav’s brother ..sad! What does one say at moments like .. so disturbing ! Done such fantastic music moments with Aadesh. Sad to see a talent distress”
