We all know megastar Akshay Kumar is the undisputed ruler of hearts when it comes to his action and comedy films but how many of us know that he’s a true football fan? But that’s not the only reason why he is sporting a short crop with an even sharper parting. In his next release ‘Housefull 3’, the Bollywood superstar plays a footballer. He thought it would be suitable to wear his hair like world-famous footballers Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Aguero.
When asked about his latest hairdo, Akshay said: “My love for sports is not a hidden secret, be it cricket, karate or football. Usually the rains play spoilsport for all other games. However, when it comes to football even the rains cannot take away the joy of the game. Kicking the ball in slush, falling down and getting your clothes dirty is something everyone must experience. My son Aarav and I wait for the monsoon to play football. It gives us a high. Coming to Housefull 3, I play a footballer in the film. It was fun playing the game with Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan on screen and off it.” (As said to the times of India)
