Pritam, who was originally composing the music for the film, The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, recently announced a break from mainstream films. The makers have now brought Amit Trivedi on board to helm the music for Sandeep Singh’s ambitious two-part historical magnum opus.
In a major development, acclaimed composer Amit Trivedi has come on board The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to compose the music for the much-awaited historical magnum opus. With Rishab Shetty portraying Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the film has already generated tremendous buzz and is being mounted as one of the biggest Pan-India cinematic spectacles ever made on the legendary Maratha warrior.
According to sources close to the development, following Pritam’s public announcement that he is taking a break from mainstream films, the makers have brought Amit Trivedi on board to compose the music for the film. The project marks a significant first for the National Award-winning composer, as it will be his first Hindi Historical film based on the life and legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. National Award-winning lyricist Prasoon Joshi, who has been associated with the project from the beginning, will continue to pen the lyrics, bringing together a powerful creative collaboration for this ambitious historical epic.
