Andhra Pradesh government has officially approved a special benefit show for Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups.
The AP government has permitted one special premier show across the state at ₹600 per ticket (inclusive of GST). The benefit show will screen at 6:00 AM on August 26,matching its global release date.
Beyond the early morning premier, the film has received permission to enhance standard ticket rates for its first ten days (August 26 to September 4, 2026) with up to five shows allowed per day.Single screens are allowed an additional ₹50 per ticket.Multiplexes are allowed an additional ₹100 per ticket.
The premium pricing structure reflects massive trade confidence. Distribution rights for Toxic across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were acquired by top distributor Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations for a staggering ₹120 crore, marking one of the largest non-Telugu film acquisitions in the region’s history.
Simultaneously, the Telangana government has also cleared a ticket hike (₹50 for single screens and ₹100 for multiplexes for 10 days). The Telangana approval came with a mandate requiring the production team to donate ₹1 crore to the Telugu Film Industry Employees’ Welfare Committee and screen public awareness advertisements regarding cybercrime and narcotics.
The advance block bookings have already surged past ₹30–40 crore globally, signaling strong box-office momentum for Yash’s grand return to the silver screen.
