It’s a wrap for Sooraj R Barjatya’s Yeh Prem Mol Liya. The eagerly awaited family entertainer, based on the shades of love as only Barjatya can present, stars Ayushmann Khurrana as Prem (yes, Prem is back) and Sharvari. The film also features Anupam Kher and is set for a November 27th release.
Talking about playing the iconic character, Ayushmann said, “It is like a dream for me that I am playing the character of Prem. Because I had just thought that I wished it would happen. And it happened. There is something new in Sooraj ji’s story, and it is a good thing. It is a family film like his films. The same film hasn’t been released for many years.”
Lyricist Swanand Kirkire, who also acts in the film, said, “Rajshri and Sooraj are known for bringing families to theatres. There’s a certain purity and belief in goodness that the banner represents, and to collaborate with a team that values emotional honesty over spectacle is incredibly refreshing. Sharing the screen with Ayushmann and Sharvari has also been a beautiful experience; they both bring such individuality and sensitivity to their craft.”
