Badlapur clocks in an impressive figure at the box office with solid growth in public appreciation. Audience have lapped out showing that good content whether adult or not has a huge market. Badlapur is first solid hit of 2015.
Badlapur continued its forward march and collected Rs.9.51Cr at the end of week 2 and Rs.37.28Cr at the end of WEEK 1. The whopping sum of collections at the box office at the end of Week 2 are Rs 46.79 cr .
The first look poster of Badlapur had Varun Dhawan in an unusually grey avatar, a heavy imagery and unusual subtitle, which set the tone of the movie and generated curiosity value. The Teaser had already made Badlapur count amongst the most-talked about films on social media platforms
