Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif scored the biggest Bollywood opening weekend of 2014 in North America with their new blockbuster Bang Bang which grossed an estimated $1.2 million over the Friday-to-Sunday period and $1.4 million in the four days since its Thursday debut. That beat out this year’s previous top hits including Salman Khan’s Kick and Jai Ho as well as Chetan Bhagat’s 2 States. In fact in just four days, Bang Bang has already beaten the lifetime gross of Ajay Devgn’s hit sequel Singham Returns in North America which released in August.
Not only that the music by Vishal-Shekhar is also the #1 soundtrack of the year.
