He’s a busy, busy man. After the super-success of Black, Sanjay Leela Bhansali awaits the release of his latest film titled Saawariya. It’s already been making tons of waves with its trailers and splendid music. But he’s already ready to start a new film! But he has three to choose from so the question is…which first?

He’s emerged with a new script titled Hamari Jaan Ho Tum, but has not completed the casting or any technicalities of the sort. He will most likely cast after the release of Saawariya. A source tells Mumbai Mirror, “After Saawariya, Sanjay may first start shooting for Hamari Jaan Ho Tum. He still has to take the final decision.”

The second film is the one that has been stuck for quite some time, Bajirao Mastani. Ring a bell? This was the film that was intended to star Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles until for obvious reasons, the duo refused to work together. Bhansali gave up Aishwarya and tried to get Kareena Kapoor to work in the film. But again, things didn’t work out. Then rumors were rampant that he had approached Kareena’s cousin, model Shivani Kapoor. I guess we should assume that it didn’t happen since he scrapped the film and went ahead with Saawariya. But apparently he has re-started work on Bajirao Mastani and is looking in the direction of the Bachchan family for the casting. This includes Abhishek as Bajirao, Aishwarya as Mastani and Amitabh as Bajirao’s father. The source confirms this to Mumbai Mirror.

An official confirmation from Bhansali was naturally impossible, but music director Ismail Darbar (who is composing for Bajirao Mastani) has given Mumbai Mirror a hint. He reveals, “After Saawariya‘s release Sanjay will start with Hamari Jaan…. But he has yet to take a concrete decision on which film he wants to begin first.”

The third film is titled Heera Mandi and will be another love story. However, there are not too many details on this one and it is unlikely that this will be SLB’s next project.
