Dhanraj Jethani’s upcoming movie Bin Bulaye Baraati starring Aftab Shivdasani and Priyanka Kothari saw its music release on 8th June at Sea Princess, Mumbai. A comedy directed by Chandrakanth Singh, the event saw almost the entire cast present; along with Aftab were Rajpal Yadav, Mukesh Tiwari, Johny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Shweta Tiwari, Vijay Raj, Hemant Pandey, Manoj Joshi, Gulshan Grover, Shakti Kapoor, Dinesh Lamba, Razzaq Khan and Neeraj Vora. Om Puri, Shweta Keswani, Rati Agnihotri and Priyanka gave the event a miss.

Chandrakanth, who was very happy with the way the film has turned out, said, “Bin Bulaye Baraati is a pure, unadulterated comedy laugh-riot. It is a pure family entertainer with a huge starcast. I am also happy that the film is completed and releasing in a record four months time, it’s really a great job by the BBB team.” Gulshan Grover, who will be playing an evil character called Durjan Singh aka Black Cobra, used the look of the 80’s villains for the get up of his character. “I tried unusual getup, stylized differently, used mannerisms, a different accent and I think I almost succeeded in this experiment!” he stated. With almost a dozen upcoming Bollywood films to be centered on the khaki uniform, Aftab has joined in the fray too. Seen donning a moustache, his look in the movie is a far cry from his chocolate-boy on screen image so far. Suffering from a cold, he still managed to attend the launch. “The audience will surely accept my new look on the screen as well like love my character of a cop in Bin Bulaye Baraati!” Producer Dhanraj confidently stated, “It is a treat to the audience; the movie is a laugh riot which will make you fall right off your seat. It is an enjoyable movie and you will not get bored. Also we have Mallika Sherawat in an item song ‘Shaalu’ which is sizzling.” Ganesh Acharya, the choreographer of this song added, “Mallika got her enticing moves right and surely this number ‘Shaalu ke thumkey…’ sabhi Munnis aur Sheila ko kadi takkar degaa.”

Shot extensively in Goa and Mumbai, Bin Bulaye Baraati is the story of five fun loving taporis, who run away from the police and take shelter in a remote village called Madhavgarh which is where a series of events lead to many comic adventures. The movie will release on 17th June.
