Bipasha Basu has been talking about her knee problem which she believes started when she used to jog during her modelling days in the wrong footwear. It makes it painful for her to wear high heels or to take part in dances which involve a lot of impact steps. “I can never learn any form of international dance because of the high heels, intricate leg movement, lifts and jumps,” she says, referring to a recent TV ad in which she learnt to tango, but only managed to survive through the use of painkillers.
Bipasha is currently working on Ajay Devgan’s home production All The Best, in which it seems likely that she will now have a double role. Although a final decision is yet to be made, it seems that Bips has volunteered to play the African love interest of Sanjay Dutt after other actresses were considered but failed. Producer Kumar Mangat said, “The final decision regarding that role will be taken in a couple of days.”
Bipasha bravely carried on at the IIFA Awards last weekend without beau John Abraham who is nursing a fractured foot from an incident on the set of Hook Ya Crook. Was she missing him? “Why would anyone miss anyone for two days?” she asked, “Even if he was here, I wouldn’t have been able to give him enough time because I had to rehearse for my performance and he is happy taking care of his foot in Mumbai. I guess he is the one missing out on all the fun here.”
