Ajay Chandok, director of Nehlle Pe Dehlla, directed the comedy Chatur Singh Two Star about a bungling two star police inspector with Sanjay Dutt in a never seen before avatar and in many hilarious disguises. Most of the story (allegedly inspired by Pink Panther) was shot in July/August 2008 in Cape Town in South Africa. Sanjay has even sung two songs for the soundtrack. But afterwards the film was getting delayed for many different reasons.
However, now Chatur Singh Two Star is said to be finally released early next year. Besides Sanju, the film also stars Ameesha Patel, Gulshan Grover, Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik and Suresh Menon in pivotal roles.
