Check it out we have Aamir Khan’s favourite track from the Secret Superstar playlist. Sharing the song titled Nachdi Phira, the 52-year-old superstar tweeted: “Hear it guys… my no 1 song from Secret Superstar! Hope you like it.”
Sung by Meghna Mishra, the lovely ballad Nachdi Phira has been composed by Amit Trivedi with lyrics by Kausar Munir. The song is about the aspirations of a caged bird, a metaphor used for the film’s lead actress Zaira Wasim, who plays Insia, an aspiring singer.
Over weekend, Aamir also took to Twitter to say that he’s taken a break from Yash Raj Film’s Thugs Of Hindostan schedule, as Secret Superstar requires his full attention now. “Thugs Of Hindostan takes a back seat now, as I dive 100% into Secret Superstar from today!” he tweeted.
Directed by Advait Chandan, Secret Superstar releases in cinemas on 19th October 2017.
