Date clashes often mean that actors have to turn down great offers and give priority to previously signed films. The latest date actor to have to do this is Priyanka Chopra who had to turn down director Rohan Sippy’s forthcoming project. Unfortunately, her dates clashed with Vishal Bharadwaj’s film, Ek Bataa Saat where she will play the role of a woman with seven husbands.
Rohan has previously worked with Priyanka in Bluffmaster and says he also wanted to cast her in a Goan drug busting film. She would have a “powerful role” opposite a Bollywood newcomer, souther star, Rana Daggubati.
Apparently, Priyanka shares a good rapport with Vishal after they worked on Kaminey together.
A source says, “There was no way Priyanka could let go of Vishal’s Ek Bataa Saath. So she regretfully opted out of Rohan’s film.”
