Dharmendra will finally play the role of Esha’s father on-screen in an upcoming film, Tell Me Oh Khuda. The person responsible for this pairing is none other than Esha’s mother, Hema Malini who is re-launching her daughter in this film.
As an on-screen couple in the 1970s and 1980s, Dharmendra and Hema Malini gave hits like Dreamgirl, Sholay and Pratigya. The actor has already appeared on-screen with his sons from his first marriage, Sunny and Bobby Deol in Anil Sharma’s Apne. He will soon be seen with Bobby once again – both as conmen in Yamla Pagla Deewana. However, this is the first time he will be seen on-screen with his daughter.
Tell Me Oh Khuda is the story of Esha’s character who goes in search of her biological parents. Apparently, her look in the film is a ‘de-glam’ one and she even had to learn how to ride a camel.
Speaking about the film, Esha says, “We shoot in three different continents with three different cinematographers. So it’s like doing three different films. In Turkey I shot with Rishi Kapoor ji and in Jaisalmer I’m shooting with Vinod Khanna ji.”
