There’s mystery in the forest, folklore in the air and now, there’s romance at the heart of The Vvaan. ‘Samjho Na’, the first song from the much-awaited film, is finally out, bringing Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s first-ever on-screen pairing into focus and opening up a whole new side of the world audiences first saw in the teaser.
After teasing viewers with its supernatural world and leaving them wondering what awaits inside Vvaan, the song shifts gears beautifully. ‘Samjho Na’ brings the spotlight onto the relationship between its two leads, giving audiences their first proper look at the romantic equation that sits within the larger folklore-fantasy adventure. And with Sidharth and Tamannaah sharing the screen for the first time, there is an undeniable freshness to the pairing.
Under the music label of Zee Music, the song also gives The Vvaan a new emotional vibe. Amid the mystery, adventure, and fantastical world surrounding them, Sidharth and Tamannaah’s characters bring a sense of warmth and romance to the story.
Adding to the mood is a musical team that brings together some of Hindi cinema’s familiar voices and talents. Tanishk Bagchi has composed and produced the track, with Jubin Nautiyal and Suvarna Tiwari lending their vocals and Manoj Muntashir on lyrics. Krishna Kishor has handled additional live production, while Eric Pillai has mixed and mastered the song, with Michael Edwin Pillai as assistant mix engineer.
Backed by some of the country’s most distinctive storytellers, The Vvaan brings together TVF’s Arunabh Kumar, director Deepak Mishra and Ektaa Kapoor for a commercial film that takes Indian folklore into a new cinematic space. While its world is rooted in folklore and fantasy, the film brings together adventure, mystery and humor to become a complete family entertainer. The ambition extends beyond the film, with The Legend of Vvaan comic book already introducing audiences to the broader folklore of its universe.
Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in association with TVF and 11.11 Production, The Vvaan stars Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia. Written by Arunabh Kumar and directed by Deepak Mishra, with Manu Anand as DOP and Visual Director, the film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and Niraj Kothari.
The Vvaan arrives in cinemas internationally on September 25, 2026, through Marudhar Entertainment, promising a big-screen fantasy folklore experience where visuals, music, mystery, romance, and scale come together to create a world audiences will want to step into.
